Eton Mess Pudding
 Eton, probably the best known of all English public schools, is famous
also for one of the easiest puddings to make. Other suitable fruits, such as
raspberries, also look luscious.
Serves 4-6
1lb Strawberries (reserve 4-6 for decoration)
1/3 cup Sugar
5 Tbls Kirsch
6-8 sm Meringues
2 1/2 cups Heavy Cream - whipped until thick.
Crush the strawberries lightly, and sprinkle with the sugar and Kirsch.
Leave in the fridge for 2-3 hours. Crush the Meringues coarsely and fold
into the Strawberries with the whipped cream. Serve in glass bowl and
decorate with reserved fruit.
