 Melrose's of Scotland Teas
Founded in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1812 by Andrew
Melrose. By 1833 Melrose's of Scotland became the first company to legally
land tea (a shipment of some 600 packages from China) independently of the
East Indies Trading Co.
Today the teas are produced in Edinburgh in the new factory
built in 1988. Melrose's of Scotland hold a Royal Warrant by
appointment of HM Queen Elizabeth 11. Among their fine teas are
Scottish Breakfast and Queens Tea.
